Meet Dr. Katie Reynolds

Dr. Katie Reynolds is originally from Tylertown, Mississippi and completed her primary education at Parklane Academy in McComb, Mississippi. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in General Chemistry from The University of Southern Mississippi, and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham College of Optometry. Following her Optometric program, Dr. Edwards completed a Residency in Ocular Diseases and Primary Eye Care at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

When it comes to her eye care practice, Dr. Reynolds puts her patients first.

Patient Care Philosophy: “My approach to patient care is placing emphasis on viewing the patient as a whole, considering their systemic health and how that can relate to a variety of ocular conditions. I believe in clear and effective communication of my exam findings to patients in order for them to better understand how to best maintain great vision and ocular health,” states Dr. Reynolds.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Reynolds enjoys being outdoors kayaking and fishing, spending time with friends and family, cooking with her husband Justin, and going to Southern Miss baseball games.

She also loves spending time with Jett, her Shih Tzu.

Patients enjoy Dr. Reynolds’ warm and friendly personality, her excellent communications skills, and her attention to detail.
